Most families cannot afford to meet the cost of their children's’ education. Even primary education for children is out of reach. Zaytun Welfare Trust has provided financial assistance to a number of educational centers. It costs only £200 to construct one classroom. Thousands of rural villages do not have a school within walking distance; and often when they are available, they lack basic resources that make attendance for children viable.
Zaytun Welfare Trust believed education is the long-term solution for eradicating poverty in Bangladesh/Pakistan and India. We are also building new schools, offering scholarships for further education and helping pay salaries for teachers in schools. With as little as £1 a day you can help a child from a poor family go to school and enable them to break free of the vicious cycle of poverty.
